Uster Top 32.5% SC is a broad spectrum, systemic and contact foliar fungicide for the control of Stem Rust and Yellow Rust in wheat and Rust, Angular leaf spot and Anthracnose on French beans.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Azoxystrobin 200 g/L + Difenoconazole 125 g/L
MODE OF ACTION:
Uster Top 32.5% SC contains two active ingredients; Azoxystrobin and Difenoconazole.
• Azoxystrobin belongs to Strobilurin chemical group. It acts by inhibiting spore germination during early stages of fungal growth.
Azoxystrobin interferes with mitochondria respiration by disrupting the energy within the fungus and interrupting the biosynthensis of ergosterol. This disrupts the fungal life cycle mainly during spore germination, infection and hyphen growth.
• Difenoconazole belongs to Triazole chemical group. It is absorbed by the plant and works on the fungal pathogens by interfering with biosynthesis of sterols in cell membranes during penetration and haustoria formation.
It has protective and curative properties and it is recommended during early stages of diseases cycle to minimise on fungal pathogen build up as well as irreversible damage to the crop.
BENEFITS:
• Resistance management: Low risk of resistance due to combination of two active ingredients with different mode of action.
• High efficacy: Excellent protective and curative properties from the two chemicals
• Broad Spectrum: Effective on wide range of diseases; rust, Powdery mildew, Anthracnose, Angular leaf spots
• Systemic: Due to its systemic nature, it offers protection even to the new growths.
• Cost effective: This is due to high efficacy at low rates of application; only 1.0 Litre of Uster Top per Hectare (10ml in 20Lts).
Re-entry interval (REI): 12 hours
Mixing instructions:
Half-fill the spray tank with water. Add the required amount of Uster Top 32.5% SC, then fill the water to the required level and mix or agitate thoroughly to uniformity. Ensure the spray mixture is used the same day it is prepared.
