Topramezone – HRAC class F2
Topramezone inhibits 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (4-HPPD) in the biosynthesis of plastoquinones and tocopherols. It therefore also indirectly inhibits the formation of carotenoids. This disrupts the formation and function of chloroplasts.
