Starmet 70% WG

Starmet 70% WG/DF is a selective, systemic herbicide widely used for pre- and early post-emergence weed control in potato and sugarcane farms. It effectively targets annual broadleaf weeds and grasses.

Active Ingredient:  Metribuzin (70% concentration).

Formulation Type: Water Dispersible Granule (WG) / Dry Flowable (DF), which dissolves readily in water for easy sprayer mixing.

Mode of Action: Systemic action. The herbicide is absorbed by the weed's roots and foliage, translocating through the plant to inhibit photosynthesis, resulting in yellowing and eventual death.

• Acre Coverage: 1 kilogram covers approximately 2 to 2.5 acres.

Safety and Handling:

• Only use on designated crops (potatoes and sugarcane). Spraying this on tomatoes, beans, or other broadleaf vegetables may kill or damage your crop.
• Always wear protective gear (gloves, masks, and boots) when mixing and spraying.
• Spray when wind speeds are low to avoid drifting the chemical onto sensitive neighboring crops.
