Proxygold is an advanced insect growth regulator (IGR) insecticide providing long-lasting and effective control of whiteflies, mealybugs, scales, psyllids, aphids, and other sucking insect pests across a wide range of agricultural crops through its highly selective mode of action, which disrupts insect development and reproduction to deliver
sustained suppression of pest populations, protect crop health and yield, and support integrated pest management (IPM) and effective insecticide resistance management programmes.
Active Ingredient: Pyriproxyfen (350 grams per liter)
Mode of Action:
Pyriproxyfen is a juvenile hormone mimic. It does not provide an immediate knock-down effect on adult insects; instead, it prevents immature insects (larvae, nymphs, and pupae) from developing into reproductive adults.
Key Advantages
Extended Residual Protection: It breaks down slowly in the shade and binds tightly to foliage, providing multi-week residual efficacy.
IPM & Resistance Management: Because it has a completely different mechanism of action (IRAC Group 7C) compared to standard pyrethroids or organophosphates, it is a vital tool for preventing insecticide resistance.
Tank-Mix Friendly: Because it is slow-acting on adults, farmers often tank-mix it with an adulticide (like Bifenthrin or Acetamiprid) for simultaneous instant knockdown and generational control.

Mixing and Dosage
Foliar Agricultural Spray: Because this is a high-strength (350 g/L) variant compared to standard 100 g/L formulations, follow precise label concentrations. Generally, foliar applications range between 30 ml to 75 ml per hectoliter (100L) of water, or roughly 100–150 ml per hectare depending on crop density and target pest pressure.
Target Pests: Whiteflies (eggs and nymphs), scale insects, thrips, aphids, mealybugs, and leafminers.
Target Crops: Widely used in horticulture, orchards, and field crops such as cotton, citrus fruits, tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers.
