Murphamine 72%(2-4 D)

Murphamine 72%(2-4 D) is a selective, systemic herbicide containing 720g/L of 2,4-D Amine salt, used to control broad-leaved weeds in cereal crops like maize, wheat, and sorghum. 

It is a pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicide for control of annual and perrenial broad leaved weeds in maize, coffee and wheat.

It is applied post-emergence at a rate of 1–4 L/Ha or roughly 60ml/20L of water. It is effective for both pre- and post-emergence control.

Active ingredient: 2-4-D amin or Dymethylamine salt of diclorophenoxy acetic acid 720g/l

Application Rates

• Knapsack Sprayer (20L water): Mix 60ml of Murphamine in 20 liters of water.
• Hectare Coverage: Apply at a rate of 1–4 liters per hectare (depending on weed intensity)

Key Guidelines:

• Target: Primarily effective on annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds.
• Application Method: Spray post-emergence when weeds are young and actively growing.
• Safety: Always wear protective clothing (gloves, mask, boots) during application.
• Caution: Do not apply in windy conditions to avoid drift onto sensitive crops, as 2,4-D is highly active on non-target broad-leaved plants.
