Metrizan is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic used to treat and control internal parasites in livestock, including cattle, sheep, and goats.
It is designed to control liver flukes, lungworms, and stomach/bowel worms, and is safe for use during pregnancy.
Active ingredient:
Levamisole hydrochloride 2,5 % m/v (an imidothiazole, which acts against roundworms).
Oxyclozanide 3,4 % m/v (a salicylanilide, which acts against liver and conical flukes)

Dosage and Administration:

- It is highly recommended to administer this to animals when their stomachs are empty (e.g., in the morning before feeding) for maximum efficacy.

- Withdrawal Period: Allow 7 days between the last treatment and slaughter for human consumption.
- Immunity: No worm remedy, should be given to sheep or goats that have not been immunized against pulpy kidney (enterotoxaemia).
