Kalach 480SL

Kalach 480 SL is a non-selective systemic herbicide for the post-emergence control of annual and perennial weeds, absorbed by the foliage only, with rapid translocation throughout the plant where it blocks the synthesis of aromatic amino acids by inhibiting EPSP synthase activity. The product has no residual activity and is active only on green tissues of actively growing plants.

Direction Of Use

Rate: 1 - 3 ℓ/ha on annual weeds (or 80 - 480 mℓ per 20 ℓ knapsack sprayer depending on weeds type and size, based on a spray volume of 250 ℓ/ha). 6 ℓ/ha on perennial weeds.

Recommendations: Spray when there is enough moisture and when weeds are actively growing. For best results, spray coverage should be uniform and complete. Use a low or medium volume of water (30 to 400 ℓ/ha). Use higher rates on old, well established weeds. Rainfall or irrigation occurring within 6 hours after application may reduce effectiveness. Never forget that Kalach 480 SL is a non-selective herbicide and therefore avoid contact with foliage, green stems, or fruit of crops, desirable plants and trees, since severe injury or destruction may result.
