HELITEC® is a specific bio-insecticide against Lepidoptera of the Helicoverpa family.
An innovative solution based on highly concentrated HearNPV, HELITEC® acts by ingestion in two stages: first, the virus attacks the digestive tract of the larvae, which stop feeding and die.
Secondly, the infected bodies of the larvae release millions of viruses which in turn infect other larvae. This double action allows an optimal regulation of the treated populations.

Mode of Action:
- Contact: After spraying Helitec SC the larva ingests it and gets infected by the virus
- Infestation and death: The virus multiplies in the insect's body, causing it's death
- Release: The decaying body of the dead larva releases millions of viruses into the environment
- New infestation: The release of these viruses contaminates the next generation of larva
