Gestavet GnRH is an injectable veterinary pharmaceutical used for ovulation induction and reproductive management in livestock.
Active Ingredient: Gonadorelin (acetate) at 0.1mg 100 ug per 1mL of solution. It is a synthetic equivalent of the natural hypothalamic Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH).
Dosage and Administration
- Cattle: 1mL per animal (equivalent to 0.1mg of gonadorelin) administered intramuscularly.
- Breeding Rabbits: 0.2mL per animal (equivalent to 0.02mg of gonadorelin). Should not be used in females younger than 86 days
Withdrawal Period and Safety
- Withdrawal Time: 0 days for both meat and milk.
- Storage: Store refrigerated between 2ºC and 8ºC and protect from direct sunlight. The shelf life after the first opening is 28 days.
- Precautions:Use latex gloves when handling, and it is not recommended for use by pregnant women.
