FCM pherolure 1U is a complete system for trapping male False Codling Moth adults (Cryptophlebia (Thaumatotibia) leucotreta). The system consists of: the FCM PHEROMONE lure; the delta-trap; and sticky paper. The FCM PHEROMONE lure is a rubber dispenser, containing specific pheromones.
The 1U (unit) refers to a single 25 mg clear plastic lure containing a synthetic, species-specific, female-produced pheromone designed to attract male moths
Active Ingredients: (E)–7–dodecenyl acetate (12.5 mg), (E)–8–dodecenyl acetate (10.4 mg), and (Z)–8–dodecenyl acetate (2.1 mg).
Target Pest: Male False Codling Moth (FCM) in citrus, avocados, roses, and other horticultural crops.
Targeted Use: Primarily for population monitoring (identifying when to initiate control) or mass trapping (reducing pest population directly).
Benefits:
High Efficiency: Attracts males, preventing them from finding females, thus interrupting the breeding cycle.
Sustainable/IPM-Compatible: Leaves no chemical residue, allowing for pest control without violating pre-harvest intervals (PHI) or maximum residue levels (MRL).
Species-Specific: Minimizes impact on beneficial organisms and pollinators.
Guidelines:
Installation: Place the plastic lure onto the sticky liner inside the yellow delta trap.
Replacement Time: Lures should be replaced every 28–30 weeks, though field life can vary slightly based on environmental conditions.
Storage: Keep in a cool, dark, and dry place (preferably in a refrigerator if stored for a long period).
Application Rate: A minimum of 4 lures/acre is recommended
