Equation Pro 525 SC is a powerful, broad-spectrum, and systemic suspension concentrate (SC) fungicide.
It is primarily used to prevent and cure devastating fungal diseases like early and late blights and downy mildew in high-value crops like potatoes, tomatoes, onions, snow peas, and French beans.
Active ingredients:
Famoxadone 225 g/kg
Cymoxanil 300gm/kg
Target Crops & Diseases:
- Tomatoes & Potatoes: Early and late blights
- Onions: Downy mildew
- Snow Peas & Sugar Snaps: Downy mildew and powdery mildew
- French Beans: Bean rust, anthracnose, and angular leaf spot
- Roses: Downy mildew and rust
Benefits:
Dual-Action Technology: Contains a synergistic blend of two active ingredients—Famoxadone and Cymoxanil. This delivers both protective (preventative) and curative (stopping established infections) control.
Locally Systemic: The active ingredients are rapidly absorbed into plant tissues. This allows the fungicide to move through the plant for fast-acting, deep protection, rather than just sitting on the leaf surface.
Highly Targeted: It is exceptionally effective against Oomycetes, the pathogens responsible for severe crop threats like late blight (in tomatoes and potatoes) and downy mildew (in onions, snow peas, and ornamentals).
Rainfast: The formula penetrates plant cuticles rapidly, making it rainfast within 3 hours after application.
Application Guidelines:
To achieve the best results with minimal crop damage, follow these application details:
- Standard Mix Rate: Mix 10 grams of Equation Pro in 20 liters of water.
- Per Acre Rate: Roughly 200–250 grams per acre (depending on water volume).
- Application Frequency: For low-risk conditions, apply every 8-10 days. In high-risk environments (e.g., continuous cold/wet weather), reduce the interval to 7 days.
Resistance Management: Do not use exclusively in every spray cycle. Rotate with fungicides that have a completely different chemical class/mode of action to prevent the fungus from building immunity.
Application Time: Spray during early mornings or late afternoons (after 3 PM) for the best absorption and to prevent flower drops.
Safety Precautions: Ensure you wear appropriate protective gear (masks, gloves, overalls) as this chemical can be toxic to aquatic life. Always observe the Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI) on the label.
