Active Ingredient: Deltamethrin 100 g/L (10% w/v)
Mode of Action:
It functions primarily through contact and stomach (ingestion) action. Upon coming into contact with or being swallowed by the target insect, Deltamethrin target nerve axons, altering sodium channel kinetics.
This completely blocks nerve impulse transmissions, leading to an immediate "knockdown" effect, paralysis, and rapid pest mortality.
Target Pests: African bollworms, caterpillars, aphids, thrips, whiteflies, leafhoppers, and beetles.
Target Crops:Vegetables (like tomatoes, kales, and cabbages), cereals (maize), legumes, and ornamentals (roses)
General Application
- Application Method: Foliar spray using a calibrated knapsack or boom sprayer to ensure uniform coverage of the crop canopy.
- Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): Pyrethroids generally have strict safety windows. For most vegetable crops, the PHI ranges between 3 to 7 days before harvesting can safely take place.
