Application Guide
Apply Dolomitic Lime according to soil-test recommendations, soil pH, soil texture and crop requirements. Spread it evenly over the field and incorporate it into the soil where possible.
For best results, apply several weeks before planting to give the lime sufficient time to react with the soil. It may also be applied during land preparation or as part of a long-term soil acidity management programme.
Dolomitic Lime is not a replacement for fertilizer. It improves soil conditions and supplies calcium and magnesium, enabling crops to use existing and applied nutrients more efficiently.
Important
Avoid excessive application. Over-liming may raise soil pH above the desired range and reduce the availability of micronutrients such as zinc, iron, manganese and boron.
Use Calcitic Lime instead where soil magnesium levels are already adequate or high.
