This occurs as azoxystrobin binds to the Qo site of Complex III within the mitochondrion.
Metalaxyl-M, a systemic fungicide with protective and curative action, inhibits protein synthesis in fungi by interfering with the synthesis of ribosomal RNA. It is rapidly absorbed by the green plant part within 30 minutes, transported upwards in the sap stream, and distributed throughout the plant, providing effective control of fungi from within
