Aminogen is a liquid bio-stimulant used in Kenyan agriculture to promote plant growth, enhance nutrient uptake, and improve crop quality. It is a peptide-based formula that, in many formulations, contains Calcium and Boron, often extracted through enzymatic hydrolysis
Benefits:
- Stress Management: Helps crops recover from environmental stressors such as drought, extreme temperatures (cold/heat), and salinity.
- Enhanced Nutrient Uptake: Acts as a carrier for micronutrients, increasing their mobility and absorption, particularly for iron, zinc, and manganese.
- Boosted Productivity: Promotes flowering, fruit set, and uniform, high-quality yields.
- Energy Efficiency: Provides directly absorbable amino acids, allowing the plant to save energy in protein synthesis.
- Root Development: Specific formulations (e.g., Aminogreen Root) promote root system expansion and density
Composition
- Typically contains a balance of essential amino acids (glycine, leucine, lysine, serine, valine) along with organic nitrogen and sometimes macronutrients (NPK) or micronutrients (Calcium, Boron).
Application:
- Application Method: Suitable for both foliar spraying and fertigation (soil application via irrigation systems).
- Usage Timing: Recommended during critical stages of plant development, including rooting, transplantation, flowering, and fruit setting.
-Aminogen is used as foliar application in rate: 100- 125 ml /100 L. of water on fruit, vegetables, orchids, and ornamentals.
Main Crops:
Field crops , Vegetables and orchards.
COMPATIBILITY
-Aminogen is compatible with some fertilizers, fungicides and Insecticides. In all cases, it is recommended that a jar test be made to determine the compatibility before proceeding with high volume mixing.
-Warning: incompatible when mixing with phosphorus, copper and alkaline compounds.
