Altair 50 WDG is an Insecticide for the Control of Thrips, Aphids and Whiteies on Roses; Aphids, Whiteies, Thrips and Leaf miners on Tomatoes and Aphids, Whiteies and Thrips on Cucumber.
Active ingredient: Acetamiprid
Mode of Action:
Acetamiprid (IRAC 4A) is a neonicotinoid insecticide which has systemic translaminar activity with
contact and stomach actions. It is a neurotoxicant which activates acetylcholine receptors (nACh-R) receptors which
cause hyperactivity and muscle spasms. The insect then stops feeding and eventually leading to death.
