Alamycin Aerosol is a cutaneous antimicrobial blue coloured spray containing oxytetracycline hydrochloride.
Its primary active ingredient, oxytetracycline, provides targeted antibacterial protection for superficial skin infections and foot rot. The aerosol format ensures quick, clean, and even application, while the blue marker dye visually tracks treatment coverage

Each 140g aerosol can contains 5g Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride (equivalent to 3.58% w/w).
Indications:
- Sheep: Treatment and control of foot rot and topical skin infections.
- Cattle & Pigs: Superficial skin infections, wounds, navels, and digital dermatitis.
Dosage & Administration
- Preparation: Thoroughly clean and pare affected hooves (for foot rot) or clean wounds prior to spraying.
- Application: Shake the can well. Spray for a few seconds from a short distance until the lesion or wound is adequately covered and the blue dye is visible.
- Post-Application: Treated sheep should stand on dry ground for 1 hour before being returned to pasture.
Withdrawal Periods & Safety
- Meat & Milk: Generally features a zero-day withdrawal period for meat and zero hours for milk across all target species, making it practical for working herds.
- Safety: For external animal use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and do not inhale vapors. Ensure application in well-ventilated areas and keep away from naked flames.
