Agromaster Fertilizer; with a superior range in performance that combines control release technology with a specially formulated NPK granule providing nitrogen control & high quality nutrients uniformly.
Less is More
Controlled release fertilizers (CRF)
Controlled Release Fertilizers are fertilizer granules covered with a semipermeable coating (a kind of membrane). After application water penetrates through the semi-permeable coating and starts to dissolve the nutrients present in the granule. The release of nutrients starts once they have been partially dissolved. A pump-like action is initiated due to differences in osmotic pressure (see diagram on page 4). The plant is able to take up the released nutrients. A simple one time application of CRF delivers targeted nutrition that leads to healthy plants, uniform growth and optimal yield. This translates into maximum results with minimal effort.
Proven benefits;
1 Balanced nutrition for short cycle crops
2 Uniform distribution from equally sized granules
3 Free-flowing without risking segregation or caking
4 Easy and comfortable product handling with low dust
5 Prevents soil salinization with low chloride and sodium
6 Sulfur nutrition through elemental sulfur and sulphates
7 Up to 3 months longevity of nitrogen
Longevity
The release of nitrogen in Agromaster products covers the nitrogen supply for the first 2 to 3 months of the growth cycle. The pace of nutrients release depends on the soil temperature, on adequate contents of water in the immediate vicinity of the product granules and in case of sulfur coating also on conditions enabling microbial activity. At a soil temperature of 21 degrees Celsius the release of nitrogen is 3 months.
General Recommendations
Agromaster products are developed for open field application. Agromaster can either be broadcasted or localized applied on the field. It is preferred to work the Agromaster in the soil when you broadcast apply it (upper 5 centimeters). Limit the spreading width to avoid abrasion of the coated granules to 10 meters.
For greenhouse / tunnel soil application Agromaster should be treated as a conventional fertilizer due to the limited level of coating of the total product.
For open field application apply the Agromaster before transplanting or 20-30 days after seeding. For localized application (band or in the row) apply the Agromaster before transplanting or 20-30 days after seeding. When more than 200 to 250 kg/ha is applied in the row; apply Agromaster in 4 or more rows.
General band application recommendation for vegetables is 250-450 kg/ha (band wide 1 meter).
Application recommendations
Agromaster products are developed for field application Agromaster can broadcasted or it can be row, spot and bed applied
When applied in the row or spot, make sure the product is 10 cm from the plants. The recommended application method depends on the crop and selected product.
Do not put Agromaster in the planting hole For the best performance Agromaster should be incorporated into the first 5 cm of soil.
Apply Agromaster before planting or 20-30 days after seeding If there is a drip line, apply Agromaster close to the drippers It is recommended to irrigate well after application
Crop Application rate:
Open field application 400 - 600 kg/ha
Vegetables in general 500 - 700 kg/ha
Field grown nurseries 400 - 600 kg/ha
With CRF, the supply of nutrient matches the demand of the plants to give both optimal growth and nutrient efficiency.
