Supamectin

Supamectin is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic veterinary medicine used primarily on livestock like cattle and sheep. Its active ingredient is Ivermectin (1%) which paralyzes and eliminates internal and external parasites.

Administered subcutaneously to treat gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms, eyeworms, mites, warbles & sucking lice.

Active Ingredient: Ivermectin (10 mg per 1ml).

Dosage & Administration

• Route: Administered via subcutaneous injection (typically under the loose skin in front of or behind the shoulder).
• General Dose Rate: 1ml per 50kg of body weight.

Precautions:

• Meat Withdrawal: Animals intended for human consumption must not be slaughtered within 35 days of the last treatment (Note: this varies by specific formulation, so always verify your exact product label).
• Dairy Restrictions: Generally not for use in lactating dairy cows producing milk for human consumption.
• Environmental Safety: Extremely toxic to aquatic life and must be disposed of safely.
