Sublime is designed to control a broad spectrum of challenging broadleaf and grassy weeds in turfgrass.
It is unique in the market for combining three active ingredients—triclopyr, dicamba, and mesotrione—into a single, non-phenoxy formulation that provides both immediate contact control and residual protection, without the intense, unsightly bleaching often caused by mesotrione alone.
Active Ingredients:
- Triclopyr (29.50%)
- Dicamba (15.35% - Note: Some sources indicate 16.27>#/em###)
- Mesotrione (5.20%)
Formulation: Liquid concentrate.
Application Rate: 0.32–0.75 FL OZ per 1,000 sq ft.
Surfactant Needed: Requires the addition of a Non-Ionic Surfactant (NIS).
Application Timing: Apply to young, actively growing weeds
Key Features:
- Unique 3-Way Formulation: Combines Triclopyr, Dicamba, and Mesotrione to target weeds differently, broadening the spectrum of control.
- Non-Phenoxy (Non-2,4-D): A proprietary formula offering an alternative for weed management.
- Reduced Bleaching: Specially blended to suppress the common white bleaching symptoms associated with mesotrione products, resulting in better visual turf quality.
- Residual Control: Provides up to 28 days of residual weed control.
- Versatile Use Sites: Labeled for use on residential and industrial lawns, sod farms, golf courses (fairways/tees), parks, and cemeteries.
Precautions:
Sensitive Turf: DO NOT apply to Bentgrass, Poa annua, or Kikuyugrass.
Newly Seeded Turf: Delay treatment until grass has been mowed 2–4 times or 4 weeks after emergence.
Temperature Restrictions: Avoid broadcast applications when temperatures exceed 85°F.
Drift Sensitivity: Avoid spraying near desirable ornamentals, especially roses and daylilies.
Rotation Restriction: Do not plant any crop other than turfgrass for 18 months following application
