Skipper 72 WP is a broad-spectrum, multi-action fungicide used to control destructive fungal diseases in vegetables (like tomatoes and potatoes).
It is formulated with a combination of Mancozeb (contact) and Cymoxanil (systemic) to deliver protective, curative, and eradicative properties.
Active Ingredients:Mancozeb (64%) & Cymoxanil (8%)
Application Guidelines:
- Mixing Rate: Mix 40–50 grams per 20 liters of water (approx. 2 kg per hectare).
- Action: It works both on the surface and absorbs into the plant tissue, making it an excellent tool for stopping established infections and preventing new spores from taking hold.
Application & Dilution:
- Standard Rate: Mix 40g of Skipper 72WP per 20 litres of water (or approximately 2 kg per hectare).
- Method: Apply as a foliar spray, ensuring thorough and even coverage of the foliage for the best protective and curative results.
- Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): Typically requires a waiting period of about 7 days between spraying and harvest (adjust based on the specific crop).
- Safety: The re-entry interval after spraying is usually 24 hours.
Benefits:
Dual Action: Combines contact (Mancozeb) and systemic (Cymoxanil) properties, ensuring both a protective barrier on the leaf and deep penetration into plant tissues.
Multi-Mode Control: Acts preventatively, curatively (stopping fungal growth inside the plant), and eradicatively (preventing further sporulation).
Disease Targeting: Highly effective against early and late blight, downy mildew, rust, and anthracnose.
Weather Resistance (Rainfast): Quickly absorbed by the plant system, making it highly resistant to being washed away by light rains shortly after application.
