Secure® 240 SC is a suspension concentrate insecticide containing Chlorfenapyr 240 g/L. It is used for the control of red spider mites and thrips in roses, and Tuta absoluta in tomatoes.
It works mainly through stomach activity with some contact action and has translaminar but limited systemic activity in the plant. For best results, ensure good spray coverage on both sides of leaves, stems and branches.

Application Guidance
For tomatoes, apply Secure® 240 SC against Tuta absoluta up to 3 times per season at 7-day intervals. The pre-harvest interval for tomatoes is 3 days.
For roses, apply against red spider mites and thrips up to 4 times per season at 7-day intervals. Spray early morning or late afternoon when temperatures are cooler to avoid scorching.
Use enough water to ensure thorough coverage. Shake the bottle before use. Half-fill the spray tank with clean water, start agitation, add the required amount of Secure® 240 SC, then top up with the remaining water while mixing.
Where spray water has a pH above 7.0, use of an acidifier is recommended.
Resistance Management
Secure® 240 SC contains Chlorfenapyr, which belongs to IRAC Group 13. To reduce resistance risk, avoid repeated exclusive use of Secure® 240 SC. Rotate with pest-control products from a different mode of action and combine with good crop management practices.
Important Safety Notes
Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles or face shield during mixing and spraying. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using the product.
Secure® 240 SC is fatal if inhaled, toxic if swallowed, may cause mild skin irritation, and is very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Avoid drift to water bodies, grazing areas, blooming crops and non-target areas.
Keep locked away and out of reach of children, unauthorized persons and animals. Do not reuse empty pesticide containers.
