The Onion Red Superior is a high-yield, premium short-day hybrid variety. It produces highly uniform, globe-shaped bulbs with a distinct, deep violet-red skin.
It is widely favored by East African growers for its strong pungency, excellent shelf-life, and resistance to early bolting.

Maturity: 85 to 100 days after transplanting.
Yield Potential: Average of 20 to 25 tons per acre under good management practices.
Seed Rate: 1 kg to 1.5 kg per acre.

Cultivation Tips:
