Glory is a double powered systemic and contact fungicide for the control of early and late blight on tomatoes and downy mildew in roses and imparts greening effect to plants.
Active ingredient:
• Mancozeb 700g/kg
•Azoxystrobin 50g/kg
Mode of action:
Mancozeb is a protectant fungicide belonging to the dithiocarbamate family, acting by contact only, with a good persistence on the vegetative parts of the plant.
It inhibits spore germination. Azoxystrobin (strobilurin) blocks electron transfer in complex III of respiratory system, and inhibits early infection (spore germination...) as well as later infection stages (growth and sporulation).
Benefits:
• Dual Action: Combines contact and systemic active ingredients for enhanced efficacy.
* Mancozeb: Provides protective contact action and inhibits spore germination.
* Azoxystrobin: Offers systemic action, blocking electron transfer in the respiratory system to inhibit early and later stages of infection.
* Broad Spectrum Control: Effective against a wide range of fungal diseases.
* Greening Effect: Azoxystrobin promotes a "greening effect" in the plant, potentially optimizing yield.
* Improved Formulation: WG (Water Dispersible Granule) formulation ensures better solubility and spreading on leaves for superior disease protection across the entire plant.
Application Guidlines:
* Apply Glory 750 WG as a preventative foliar spray, ideally before the first signs of disease appear, approximately 15 days after crop emergence.
* Dosage: 1.50 - 2.00 kg per hectare (or 60 to 80 grams per 20-liter knapsack sprayer, based on a spray volume of 500 liters per hectare).
* Spray Interval: Repeat applications every 7 days.
* Rotation: Alternate with fungicides that have different modes of action to prevent resistance development.
* Maximum Applications: Do not apply more than 6 times per crop cycle.
* Rate Adjustment: Use higher rates when conditions favor disease development.
* Spray Volume: Use a spray volume of 300 to 600 liters per hectare.
* Application Timing: Avoid spraying during the warmer hours of the day or in strong winds.
