Doxyvet is a broad-spectrum, water-soluble antibiotic containing doxycycline hydrochloride.
Active Ingredient :500mg doxycycline
Indications:
- Respiratory infections: Airsacculitis, sinusitis, and complex chronic respiratory disease (CRD).
- Systemic/Tissue conditions: Skin infections, genitourinary infections, and chlamydiosis (psittacosis).
- Pathogens targeted: Effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, and Rickettsia
Safety and Administration:
- Fresh water: Change medicated drinking water daily and protect it from direct sunlight.
- Gut flora: Follow up treatment with probiotics or synbiotics to help restore normal gut flora.
- Restrictions: Do not use in animals intended for human consumption or layers producing eggs for human food, depending on local withdrawal guidelines.
