MODE OF ACTION:
Oxyfluorfen is a contact herbicide of the nitrophenyl ether class which acts by inhibiting the production of a chlorophyll enzyme which resulting in an accumulation of chemicals that disrupt cell membrane integrity in the presence of light.

Application may be delayed for up to a month, if weed development is slow. Transplanted onions – apply when plants have reached the 2-3 true leaf growth stage. Apply directly after transplanting, followed by irrigation. Weak plants may be susceptible to damage. Planted garlic – Apply immediately after planting. Leaf scorch and/or pig tailing may occur, especially under cold, wet and windless conditions. High soil temperatures may delay emergence and cause leaf scorch. |
Brassicas (Cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower) |
Annual broadleaf & grass weeds | Soil treatment: 1L/ha (50ml/20L of water) | Apply after final cultivation plant bed preparation but before transplanting. Sprayed soil should not be ploughed. Do not apply this product post-planting as crop damage may occur. |

PREPARATION OF SPRAY MIXTURE:
Fill spray tank with half the amount of required water. Add required amount of COMMANDER® 240EC and fill the water to the required level. Agitate to ensure thorough mixing and use the spray mixture on the same day of preparation.
APPLICATION TECHNIQUE:
Apply COMMANDER® 240EC as a soil treatment or weed foliar treatment. Adequate coverage of weed foliage should be ensured for effective control.
APPLICATION TIMING:
DO NOT apply COMMANDER® 240EC when heavy rain is forecast. Application can be done 1 day after rain or irrigation, once in a season.
COMPATIBILITY:
DO NOT use COMMANDER® 240EC in a mixture with any other chemical remedy if the effect of the mixture has not been confirmed on the target crops.
PHYTOTOXICITY:
COMMANDER® 240EC is non-phytotoxic when used as recommended.
RE-ENTRY PERIOD:
DO NOT enter treated areas until 12 hours after spraying, when spray deposits have completely dried. If entry is necessary, protective clothing should be put on.
