MODE OF ACTION: Carbendazim is a widely used, broad-spectrum systemic benzimidazole fungicide and a metabolite of benomyl, acting by inhibiting the development of fungi probably by interfering with spindle formation at mitosis (cell division).

PREPARATION OF SPRAY MIXTURE: Fill spray tank with half the amount of required water. Add required amount of CHARIOT® 500SC and fill the water to the required level. Agitate to ensure thorough mixing.
APPLICATION TECHNIQUE: Apply CHARIOT® 500SC as a foliar spray ensuring adequate coverage of the crop foliage for excellent results.
APPLICATION TIMING: For curative action, start applying CHARIOT® 500SC when signs of disease infestation first appear. For preventive action, apply when the weather condition favour disease development.
COMPATIBILITY: CHARIOT® 500SC is compatible with commonly used pesticides and foliar fertilizers. We always advise a physical compatibility test before mixing commercial quantities or spraying a large area.
PHYTOTOXICITY: CHARIOT® 500SC is non-phytotoxic when used as recommended.
RESISTANCE RECOMMENDATIONS: Repeated use of CHARIOT® 500SC alone over an extended period of time may lead to development of resistant fungal strains. CHARIOT® 500SC should be used in alternation with other fungicides with a different modes of action.
RE-ENTRY PERIOD: Sprayed greenhouses or crop fields can be re-entered after the spray mist has dried.
