Insecticide/Miticide for control of Thrips, Caterpillars & Spider Mites on Roses and French Beans, Thrips on Capsicum, Onions & Tomatoes, Diamondback Moth on Cabbage and Fall Armyworm in Maize.
Active Ingredient: Emamectin Benzoate 23g/L
Target Pests: Thrips, Caterpillars, Spider mites, Diamondback Moth(DBM) & Fall Armyworm
Target Crops: Roses, Broccoli & Maize.
Application Dose
- 8-10ml/20L of water.
MODE OF ACTION: Emamectin benzoate acts on the insect nervous system by enhancing chloride ion influx through gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and glutamate-gated chloride channels. This suppresses nerve signal transmission, leading to paralysis, feeding cessation, and death of the insect.
Key Properties:
- Translaminar movement
- Ingestion activity
- Rapid feeding inhibition
- Effective against larval stages
METHOD OF APPLICATION: Fill the spray tank halfway with clean water. Add the recommended quantity of BENTIL 23EC and mix thoroughly. Top up with the remaining volume of water while maintaining continuous agitation. Apply as a full-cover foliar spray to ensure thorough coverage of all plant parts.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
- Apply at the first sign of pest infestation
- Ensure complete wetting of foliage
- Apply as a foliar spray with standard equipment
- Repeat applications twice per season at 7–10 day intervals
- Avoid spraying during windy conditions and periods of active bee foraging
Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): 3 days
Re-Entry Interval (REI): Safe to re-enter treated areas after spray deposits have dried; generally after 6 hours
KEY FEATURES:
- Translaminar Activity
- Penetrates leaf tissues to control pests feeding on concealed surfaces.
- Rapid Feeding Suppression
- Insects stop feeding shortly after exposure, minimizing crop damage.
- Broad Pest Spectrum
- Controls a wide range of chewing and sucking pests across multiple crops.
