Barrier

Barrier is a specialized plant treatments designed to be absorbed directly through the leaves. 

They typically combine calcium and silicon to strengthen plant cell walls, creating a physical shield against pests, fungal infections, and environmental stresses like drought and heat.

It's a fortifier of plant tissues for foliar and root application, the purpose is to increase crop tolerance to pathogen attack, improve the shelf life of fruit and increase the resistance of plant and fruit to physical damage caused by friction.

 Components:

• Calcium (Ca): Essential for building healthy, strong cell walls.
• Silicon (Si): Acts as a physical fortifier that makes stems and leaves less susceptible to attack

Application:

• Timing: Apply late in the afternoon or evening. Avoid bright sunshine and high temperatures to prevent leaf burn.
• Dilution: Always dilute according to the manufacturer's label (e.g., typically between 0.5 to 2 liters per hectare).
• Coverage: Use a fine spray to ensure thorough coverage of both the top and bottom of the leaves

Benefits:

• Mechanical Protection: Silicon deposits into the cell walls, making them thicker and harder for fungi and insects to penetrate.
