Alvarion is a broad-spectrum, modern fungicide used to protect yields by preventing and treating fungal diseases like blights, mildews, and rust.
Its active ingredient is Boscalid, which works as both a contact (surface) and systemic (plant-absorbed) treatment.
It is highly effective in managing blights, powdery mildew, rust, and botrytis across a wide variety of crops, including vegetables, cereals, ornamentals, and fruit.
Active ingredient: Boscalid 50% WDG
Key Benefits:
Triple Disease Control: Works as a contact, translaminar, and systemic fungicide. It stays on the leaf surface as a protectant, penetrates leaf tissue to heal existing infections, and moves systemically to protect new growth.
Broad-Spectrum Effectiveness: Highly successful at combating a wide range of stubborn diseases, including powdery mildew, Botrytis, Alternaria blight, stem rot, and leaf spots.
Resistance Management: Belongs to the SDHI (Succinate Dehydrogenase Inhibitor) chemical class, making it an excellent rotational tool to prevent fungi from developing chemical resistance.
Superior Formulation: Usually available as a Water Dispersible Granule (WDG), which provides rapid disintegration, uniform mixing in sprayers, and less dust during handling.
General Application Rates:
For specific crops, adjust the concentration and volume according to the label instructions:
Onions & Garlic: Apply 350 - 550 g/ha to target Botrytis, Powdery Mildew, Purple Blotch, and Sclerotinia.Tomatoes, Peas, & General Vegetables: Use 400 - 700 g/ha for early blight, Botrytis, and Sclerotinia.
Grapes: Apply 80 g / 100 L of water for Graymold and Powdery Mildew
