Sussita 50EC is an insecticide used for the control of Fall Armyworm in maize.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Lufenuron 40g/L + Emamectin Benzoate 10g/L
MODE OF ACTION:
The SUSSITA 50 EC is a preparation integrating 2 active ingredients exhibiting a different operation mechanism, which complement each other.
Lufenuron is an insect growth inhibitor of the Benzoyl-urea group, which prevents chitin synthesis. As a result, a sloughing process ceases, and the death of the larvae is brought about at the time of sloughing or shortly thereafter.
Emamectin benzoate is a natural product of a micro-organism on the soil.
The active ingredient is absorbed in the tissues of the plant and ingested by the larvae, principally through the digestive system. Its operation is on the nervous system of the insect.
The insect loses, as a result, the ability to eat, immediately after its exposure to the substances.
Exposed insects die after 3-7 days after exposure to the preparation
