Saaf WP is a trusted, broad-spectrum wettable powder (WP) fungicide that combines Carbendazim (12%) and Mancozeb (63%).
It offers dual-action protection by acting both on contact (surface defense) and systemically (traveling inside the plant) to prevent, cure, and eradicate fungal diseases.
Active ingredient: Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63% WP
- Mode of Action: Curative, preventive, and eradicative — works both on contact and systemically to stop disease spread and protect new growth.
- Crops: Suitable for vegetables (tomatoes, onions, potatoes, etc.), flowers, fruits, and various field crops.
- Target Diseases: Highly effective against Downy Mildew, Powdery Mildew, Anthracnose, Leaf Spot, Early & Late Blight, Fusarium Wilt, and many other fungal pathogens.
Dosage:
- Foliar Application: Use 25g to 30g per 20 liters of water (roughly equivalent to 1.5g per 1 liter).
- Method: Ensure thorough coverage of the foliage for best contact results.
- Seed Treatment: For root rots, use approximately 2.5g of SAAF per kg of seeds.
Benefits:
Dual-Action Mechanism: Combines the systemic properties of Carbendazim (which travels within the plant to kill fungi from inside) and the contact action of Mancozeb (which creates a protective shield on the leaf surface).
Broad-Spectrum Control: Highly effective against a wide range of diseases including early and late blight, powdery mildew, downy mildew, leaf spots, rust, and anthracnose.
Curative and Preventive: Can be used before an infection occurs to protect healthy growth, or applied at early symptom stages to stop the disease from spreading.
Versatile Use: Suitable for foliar spraying, seed treatment, and soil drenching across a wide variety of crops like tomatoes, potatoes, beans, and fruit trees.
