Poltricin® Chick Formula is a combination of vitamins and anantibiotic (oxytetracycline) preparation for growing chicks to enhance healthy growth and disease prevention in times of stress.
It helps prevent chicks from developing chronic respiratory diseases (CRD), systemic diseases, and gastrointestinal diseases.
Composition:
Each 25g contains:
Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride .............................................1.25 g
Vitamin A ............................................................................75,000 iu
Vitamin B2 ................................................................................70 mg
Vitamin D3 ..........................................................................10,000 iu
Vitamin E ................................................................................16.5 mg
Pantothenic Acid (as Calcium D Pantothenate ...............125 mg

Dosage and Administration:
- The dosage above should be administered for 7 days.For starting chicks and pullets: one teaspoonful (5g) of Poltricin® Chick Formula per 5 litres
of drinking water to protect the chicks against diseases, stress and promotes healthy growth.
- In terms of stress: one teaspoonful (5g) of Poltricin® Chick Formula per 10 litres of drinking water. This treatment helps the chicks maintain appetite and normal weight to gain ratio, guarding against high stress periods i.e. during extreme temperatures, change of feed and vaccinations.
- For chicks to feed: one teaspoonful (5g) of Poltricin® Chick Formula in 5 litres of drinking water.
Medicated water must be used within 24 hours.
