Light Kaolin is a highly purified, naturally occurring hydrated aluminum silicate used in veterinary medicine as a soothing anti-diarrheal agent.
It works by absorbing excess fluid and bacterial toxins in the gut while coating the lining of the stomach.
Active Ingredient: dicalcium phosphate calcium 60g, phosphorous 45g, aluminium 5g, flourine 0.25g
Indications:
It is commonly used to manage gastrointestinal issues, non-infectious diarrhoea, and scours in
- Calves, lambs, and kids (goats)
- Horses and cattle
- Pigs
- Dogs and cats
Administration:
Adult Horses & Cattle: Mix 50g (5 tablespoons) in 500mls of water and give as a drench; repeat after 12 hours if needed.
Foals, Calves, Sheep, & Goats: Mix 30g (3 tablespoons) in 300mls of water as a drench.
Pigs: Mix 30g per 300mls of drinking water.
Dogs: Mix 10g (1 tablespoon) into 100mls of water or mix directly into their feed.
