HUMUSONSI Complex Propagation media is a made of Sapropel + Peat moss + Black peat. Sapropel is a freshwater lake sediment that has decomposed under anaerobic conditions forming a sterile, cell-free nutrient medium, rich in organic matter, proteins, amino acids, vitamins, enzymes, micro, and macro elements. Peat moss is made from decomposition of sphagnum moss, pine, and other plants resulting in growth media rich in good source of organic carbon, sugars, and soil-benefiting biota. Black peat is an organic material as a result of the highest decomposition level forming a stable, buffering media with high water holding capacity hence used as an improver of propagation media and as a soil conditioner.
Combination of Sapropel + Peat moss + Black peat to form HUMUSONSI results in a superior product compared to other propagation media that can be used for the propagation of all seeds resulting in;
- Disease free media that support seedling growth
- Higher seed germination percentage
- Uniform germination of seeds
- Robust seedling root system reducing transplanting shock
- Improvement in soil fertility as the media is made of soil conditioners
- Better seedling growth, development and productivity
Key benefit: Double benefit as a propagation media and soil conditioner
