Clinic 480 SL

Clinic® 480 SL is a non-selective, systemic post-emergence herbicide , featuring 480 g/L of Glyphosate (as an Isopropylamine salt). 

It is highly effective for knocking down both annual and perennial grasses, broad-leaved weeds, and sedges across cash crops like coffee, tea, maize, and wheat.

Active Ingredient: 480 g/L Glyphosate.

Application Guidelines:

• Application Rate: 150ml – 200ml per 20L knapsack sprayer, or 3 to 4 Liters per hectare for larger fields.
• Best Timing: Spray when weeds are healthy, actively growing, and before they go to seed. Apply during calm weather to prevent spray drift.
• Rainfastness: Avoid spraying if rain or heavy dew is expected within 6 hours.
• Mode of Action: It is a systemic herbicide, meaning it absorbs through the leaves and travels down to the roots for complete eradication.

Benefits:

Complete Root Eradication: Because it is highly systemic, the active ingredient (Glyphosate) is absorbed through green leaves and stems, then translocated all the way down to the underground roots, rhizomes, and stolons. This prevents quick regrowth.

Broad-Spectrum Weed Control: It is highly effective at eliminating both stubborn grasses and broad-leaved weeds in one application.

No-Till Land Preparation: By clearing the field of all vegetation, it allows for zero or minimum tillage. This saves labor, reduces the time spent on manual weeding, and helps prevent soil erosion caused by excessive tilling.

Ideal for Plantation Crops: It is frequently used for safe inter-row weed control in crops like maize, sugarcane, coffee, tea, and wheat (as long as it does not contact the green parts of the cash crops).
