Biomysis Mean 1.5 WP utilizes the entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium anisopliae to safely control pests like thrips, caterpillars, and mealybugs. It is widely used in sustainable and integrated pest management (IPM) programs.
Mode of Action: When the spore of Metarhizium anisopliae contained in BIOMYSIS Mean 1.15% WP infects insects that come in contact with it. Once the fungus spores attach to the outer surface of the insect, they germinate and begin to grow.
After penetrating the outside skeleton of the insect, they grow rapidly inside the insect, causing the insect to die. Insects that come in contact with infected insects also become infected.
Active Ingredient: Metarhizium anisopliae 1.15% ( 1 X 1O8 CFU/g )
Target Pests:Thrips, Caterpillars and Mealy bugs

Precautions:
1. Compatibility: Do not mix Biomysis Mean1.15 WP with other chemicals / pesticides.
2. Though the product is non - phytotoxic to most crops varieties when used at recommended rates, it is always advisable to do a small phytotoxic trials before wide spread application.
3. Environment: Avoid spraying when bees are actively foraging. Do not contaminate water sources or water ways.
4. Follow proper insecticide rotation with different group of pesticide resistance management.
