Bactergent is a powerful combination detergent and bactericide for washing and sterilizing dairy utensils and equipment. Bactergent dairy cleaning chemicals makes cleaning easier, more thorough and prevents subsequent development of bacteria on the dairy equipment.
Composition
Bactergent contains a Quaternary Ammonium compound (QAC) combined with a detergent.
Dosage and administration
Directions for Use
The recommended dilution rate is 1: 400 i.e. 25ml to 10 litres of water.
Suggested Procedure:
Rinsing
Rinse all the utensils in a cold solution of diluted Bactergent immediately after milking to remove as much milk residue as possible.
Sterilizing Metal Equipment:
Wash all the utensils thoroughly with a brush and hot diluted Bactergent solution. Harsh scrubbing and scouring is unnecessary and should be avoided. After washing, utensils should be rinsed before re-use, preferably by being hosed with clean running water.
Note:
When water is drawn from a doubtful source such as a shallow or faulty well or rainwater tank, it must be sterilized before it is used for dilution or washing of utensils or equipment.
Treatment of Rubber Equipment:
Insert a funnel at the end of the tube and hang up the tube and teat cups then flush the tubes thoroughly.
Indications
Bactergent is indicated for use in cleaning and sterilizing dairy equipment. It has excellent bactericidal, Virucidal and Fungicidal activity.
