Agrisil

Agrisil is a fully soluble, liquid potassium silicate supplement designed for agricultural use to build plant stress and disease tolerance. 

It provides highly bio-available silica, which fortifies plant cell walls, prevents crop lodging, and helps plants withstand environmental stressors like drought and extreme temperatures.

APPLICATION:

SEED PRETREATMENT :

• To perform seed pretreatment on well sprouted seed potato, mix 400ml  Agrifeed in a 20litre knapsack with 20litres water. 
• The 4x recommended foliage application-rate concentration is applied on seed well spread on the seed store floor and let to dry, while absorbing  the formulation through the seed potato eyes for at least 12 hours before planting.
•  Do a final seed dressing by applying 100ml/20litre Agrisil just before planting. 
• The eyes will be stimulated to form more stems upon emergence, three weeks after planting. All the pretreated seed potato should be planted at a spacing of 75cmx45cm for size 2 seed and 75cmx50cm for larger tubers. 
• Use 3 to 4 bags DAP or the 37%Phosphorus OCP fertilizer during planting. 
• The stem numbers for seed potato size 1 and 2 are on average 5 and 7, respectively yielding 20 tuber for size 1 and 28 tubers for size 2, at harvest. 
• No CAN top dressing is required for potato crop.
