Actellic 25EC contains pirimiphos-methyl, an organo-phosphorus compound, which kills by contact, ingestion and fumigant action. Actellic 25EC interferes with nerve transmission leading to paralysis and death of the pest (cholinesterase inhibitor). 1.
- Stored products.
a) Applied in stores as pre-treatment
- Applied on walls, floors and equipment in stores.
- Best applied in an empty store.
- Use 200ml of actellic 25EC per 100m2 in 10 litres of water.
b) To treat bagged grains, Dilute 100ml of actellic 25EC with 5 litres of water and apply by knapsack sprayer to 100m2.
c) For admixture treatment, Apply actellic 25EC at 10-40ml in 1-2 Lt. water/1,000kg grain. Spray using a suitable nozzle as the grain is fed into the bins.
2. Hides and Skins Dip hide and skin in 2% solution (i.e. 2 litres actelic 25EC in 100 litres of water).
